1.) How much will it cost before I move in?
We are not a buy-in with huge up front fees. We are strictly a rental. Unlike other retirement communities, the only charge is a nominal deposit of $250.00 to reserve the apartment of your choice.
2.) Do I sign a lease?
Yes, for a 12 - month term. This insures you the quoted monthly rent for a year. Other communities without a lease could raise the rent within a short time after your move in.
3.) How much are my utilities?
Nothing! Your monthly rent includes everything but your personal telephone, as well as basic extended cable.
4.) What about additional charges for weekly housekeeping and maintenance?
There are none! Everything is included.
5.) May I have company stay in my apartment?
Absolutely, this is your home. We encourage friends and family to stay and they are welcome to eat with you as well!
6.) What if I don’t drive and need to get to doctor appointments and such?
No need to worry, we have regularly scheduled days for appointments, banking and shopping. We also have scheduled days for outings, etc.
7.) Can I cook in my apartment?
Be our guest! Stoves and refrigerators are standard in our apartments, while our villas also include dishwashers and garbage disposals.
8.) How about special diets?
Our regular menu fits most residents very well. We do cook low salt, cholesterol and have sugar free items as well.
9.) What about parking for my car?
There is ample parking for our residents and their guests. The villas have an oversized one-car garage.
10.) Do you lock the doors at night?
Come and go as you please. This is your home. We lock the doors to the main building in the evening as you would in your own home.
11.) Will I have to give up my pet?
Your pets are your family! Feel free to bring them. We just remind you that their care and well being is your responsibility.
